Senior Business Development Manager - Payment Sol's (Africa)
(R850k to R1 mill plus Uncapped Comm)
A leading international fintech firm is looking for a highly driven and professional sales person to generate business for their innovative payment solution in South Africa and across the African continent. Exciting new position within global player. Great travel opportunities. Position based in Johannesburg.
Key Responsibilities:

Pivotal role to build relationships and generate sales with banks and card issuers;
Develop and execute sales strategies including direct market and channel partnerships;
Be instrumental in increasing footprint throughout Africa;
Key role to develop business with top clients and managed the client base;
Pivotal role to build sales pipeline through strategic positioning and proactive new customer engagement;
Key role to engage, deliver presentations and negotiate contracts with senior executives.
The firm enables issuing banks to provide real-time transaction control to their customers resulting in enhanced payment security and convenience.
Extensive travel across the African continent to build networks and generate sales.

Qualifications and Experience:

Relevant Business or Sales Degree / Diploma;
5 to 10 years exp in vendor sales to Banks and Payment Processors.
Existing network in Africa with banks and card issuers.
Proven track record of achieving/exceeding sales targets, budgeted sales and profit objectives.
Ideal role for a strong hunter who is driven by success, thrives on the challenge of new business development, and boasts a stream of successful deal making in the technology sector;
Must be willing to travel frequently.
