Well-established Telecommunications Company seeks to appoint an experienced Systems Engineer to design, develop, implement and test solutions and products to fulfil customer requirementsFormal Qualifications:
Electronic Engineering Degree
Masters in Engineering (highly desirable)
Skills, Experience and Competencies:
A broad knowledge in networking, applications and operating systems
Proactive, professional and passionate
An understanding of theories and principles plus practical implementation
Ability to work effectively in a team
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
A keen interest in keeping up to date with expertise and technology
Attention to detail

Experience with monitoring systems

Key Performance Areas:

Ensure that all jobs and projects are delivered within scope, time, cost and quality to meet customer needs and requirements

Analysis and Design
Analyse customer and competitive landscape
Propose products and/ or solutions to fulfil customer needs
Provide high level design of solutions and/ or products
System Installation, Integration and Testing
Install and configure products and solutions
System testing
End to end testing
Document control
Compile implementation/ solutions handbook
Maintenance and Support
2 nd tier support of systems and solutions
Manage and monitor all installed systems
Proactive problem identification and resolution
Self-improvement/ Technology Mastering
Study relevant standards/ specifications
Study relevant programming interfaces/ tools
Continuous research on products and solutions
Quality Assurance
Work performed meets customer expectations and follows appropriate delivery methodologies
