Job Purpose
Implement and communicate the software asset management policy, processes and procedures as well as ensuring compliance thereof. Maximise the Banks investment in its software assets, by identifying and minimising software compliance risks, and establishing optimized usage through advisory. Ensure that all software obligations from a contractual and financial perspective are met

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities • Prepare audit plans for each vendor under your responsibility
• Prepare an effective license position per product per vendor in accordance with your audit plan
• Prepare remediation plans and facilitate the remediation process with the LoB's to minimise any non-compliance.
• Ensure that all software non-compliance risks and exposures have been discussed with the relevant stakeholder.
• Prepare optimization plans based on the audit outcome.
Measured by:
• Percentage of audits completed against plan
• Percentage of software compliance conducted across all software vendors
Costs avoided or saved through licenses remediation and optimization exercises
Preferred Qualification and Experience
- B.Comm / BSC Information Technology.
Knowledge/Technical Skills/Expertise
- Experience in banking/financial services environment.
- Working knowledge of the practices of Personal and Corporate banking
- Understand Global Asset Management strategies.
- Experience in working on software license audits
