Role details:
Minimum Required Qualifications and Experience:
Honours Degree in Geology / hydrogeology / environmental science
At least 5 years’ experience in petroleum hydrocarbon contamination assessments
Experience in the writing of scientific reports is a prerequisite
Experience in environmental consulting
Preference will be given to registered professional scientist (earth sciences)
Excellent verbal communication and technical writing skills
Minimum Required Skills:
Be able to work under pressure
Able to work independently or with minimal supervision
Also able to work in a team
Planning, organising and execution
Project management
Writing and reviewing of reports
Assisting with execution of site assessment and remediation activities at sites
Groundwater assessments and monitoring
Environmental impact assessments data collection
Investigation and assessment of contamination levels and remediation measures at a variety of Chemical and Petrochemical sites
