Role details:
The BP analyst/expert handles the tactical aspects of projects, such as discovering, validating, modelling, and analyzing current and future states for processes. The resource ensures that process changes are performed in a seamless manner and enables the handoff of continuous process improvement monitoring to the BP owner.

Required competencies include:

- Expertise in process modelling,
- Analysis and decomposition, rule definition and management,
- Process performance analysis and measurement, and
- Business scenario definition and data collection

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION

Bachelors degree in IT and/or Commerce

REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

- Minimum required experience of 3-5 years in a business process environment as a Business Process Analyst
- Experience, knowledge and understanding of ARIS Design Platform version 7.1 or previous versions
- Understanding and setting up the Business Process Architecture, standards and templates using the software
- Ability to perform Quality Assurance of models against the set methodology and standards

DESIRABLE ADDITIONAL EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE AND PERSONAL QUALITIES

- Documenting detailed process models for each project, and maintaining their accuracy and context in relation to the overall enterprise business process architecture;
- Understanding and documenting the interrelationship of process, people and organization, as well as technology for specific process domains;
- Maintaining and sharing process knowledge by embracing methods, techniques, notations, standards and best practices derived from the EA team;
- Showing process stakeholders how to identify and solve process challenges;

- Supporting continuous improvement by working with stakeholders to conduct the required analysis, implement the agreed-on changes and provide the needed training;
- Serving as intermediaries between the IT organization and lines of business to align business requirements with IT capabilities
- Experience in supporting the business in defining end-to-end processes
- Ability to convert the requirements of the business into application requirements through the definition of the implementation road-map
- JAD facilitation experience to identify the gaps between the current state and the desired state
