A well-established company in the civil / construction industry is seeking the expertise of a Project Manager to join their dynamic team (Pretoria).
Salary R 50 000 to R 70 000 p/m (depending on experience)
Experience and requirements:
MUST have experience with CIVIL Construction processes, not in detail but enough to be literate in the field
Understand the terminology commonly used in the CIVIL construction field and have enough knowledge to detect when things are going wrong in order to be able to report on such
Candidate need NOT have expert knowledge of the NEC and JBCC contract frameworks/standards, but an overall awareness of such standards will be an advantage
Candidate with a strong focus on “Willingness/Attitude”

Duties:
• Candidate will be responsible for:
o Support Project Director and his management team
o Perform site visits periodically to verify that the On-Site Project Engineers are reporting the true status quo on the sites
• Drawing up of Management Reports/Dashboards, which he will presented to his stakeholders
• Candidate will have to monitor and report on 17 x client sites where construction & technology is being implemented
• A PA has been appointed and will be responsible to do the paperwork, minutes, project plans etc. and follow-up on deliverables and report such progress to the candidate (Project Manager)
• The candidate must NOT be over-qualified, i.e. must have the willingness and diligence to enjoy the job whilst seeing it as a career growth path
