IT Procurement Consultant Stellenbosch Our client is looking for a candidate experienced in IT procurement to join their teambased in Stellenbosch.  The successful candidate will be required to have good Microsoft Productknowledge, both on the licensing and hardware side.  Our client is a managed service provider ofcloud and IT services with data centers.  Job Purpose The Senior Procurement Consultant isresponsible for the timely and cost-effective sourcing of products and services in accordance withthe company’s procurement policies and procedures. This position works closely with internalbusiness units and external suppliers, vendors and clients to ensure the delivery of the besthardware and software solutions. This position is IT focused and the incumbent must have experiencein IT procurement.  Description Manage the timely execution of the procurement process by: Reviewing and action opportunities and/or tickets assigned Creating quotes and delivering tointernal/external customer Create purchase orders Communicate with internal and external customer onETA’s Create invoices Liaise with client to ensure payments are made Ensure delivery and/orinstallation of products/services Deal with relevant credit queries by working with the customerand finance department Manage and execute hardware and software renewals and warrantees Research andsupplier selection that strategically align with company policies and processes Research and selectappropriate hardware and or software products to fulfil design requirements for internal or externalcustomer. Negotiate competitive pricing with suppliers Research, update and maintain software andrelevant hardware pricing guide and consider exchange rates where applicable Provide insight andsuggestions in order to improve procurement processes and policies Maintain relevant competenciesfor partner status Oversee inventory and logistics management Manage incentive programs with vendorsand suppliers Manage distribution of Licensing keys Manage user rights/permissions for vendorsManage contracts/agreements with vendors and suppliers Build and maintain strong relationships withinternal business units, suppliers, vendors and clients. Skills and Experience
Qualifications and Experience Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in the IT resellerenvironment appropriate to role requirement (hardware or software)  Other Requirements You willbe required to travel to clients.
