Role details:
Plan and monitor siteacquisition for the planned network roll-out. Conduct site surveys, and ensure conformance with permitting and environmentalrequirements. Obtain relevant building permits, environmental, local and Civil Aviation Authority. Administration and execution acquisition / permitting Contracts. Approve contractor’s quotations according to the agreement. Sign off the RTC and the RAF packs Administrate, monitor and update site lease agreements. Obtain Property Owner approvals and signed leases for sites. Manage lease renewals, options, terminations and escalations of existing leases. Attend meetings with Vodacom, MTN and Telkom and other co locations and act as entry pointfor all queries. Manage power (Eskom/municipal) outage threats to business, informing parties of plannedwork. Manage site decommissioning/moves to ensure customer coverage maintained. Manage ATC business relationship with internal stakeholdersManage, coordinate and initiate the implementation of all the facets required to bring the networklive, either on GSM and/or UMTS and/or LTE, in respect of radio planning, RNC/BSC/BTS/NodeB/eNodeB,Transmission (Optic, IP or Legacy E1) and civil/power utility issues with regards to the regionalroll-out plan. Manage the design and planning of the transmission network so that network availability isenhanced and maintained, so that should downtime occur, our revenue and customers are not affected. Be responsible for approving designs and plans done by other departments/divisions of newnetwork elements Be responsible for the final access transmission network design Manage the commissioning and acceptance of all the diverse and complex network elements. Manage the performance of the Vendor/Supplier resources, required to implement andcommission the network elements. Manage the development and initiation of project plans and schedules and assess thefeasibility of these proposals and approve these, Identify and analyse risks and put corrective actions in place to overcome these risks, Perform a Resource analysis and implement a matrix organisation structure to ensure theefficient utilisation of all resources be it Financial, Equipment or Human Resources, Manage the implementation of Quality assurance and quality control. Manage the implementation of SH&E Manage the implementation of NIMS in the region. Assist the engineering division in the research, design and related activities of anengineering discipline Management Reports at Regional and National Level.

Skills and Experience
Minimum Qualification Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Electrical / Electronics Engineering. Diploma / Certificate in Project ManagementExperience 5 + years experience in the Telecommunications Industry. 5 years technical rollout out knowledge dealing with site build and contractors. 4 + years’ experience in Cellular Industry. 2 + years experience in Project Management.
