Requirements:
IT Related Diploma or Degree
Relevant BI Application Certification
5-8 years relevant IT expertise in implementing and maintaining Business Intelligence systems
HEAVILY exposed to front-end reporting tools such business objects, Oracle Business Intelligence Discoverer and customised business portals
4+ years experience in Business Objects 4.0 and above and at least 3 years experience in older versions
EXPERT SKILLS IN Oracle SQL, Oracle PL/SQL and Unix Shell scripting.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the architecture, design, development, and maintenance of data warehousing and business intelligence reporting technologies for the entire enterprise.
Be involved with the BI architecture/data models, and must be comfortable implementing the solution by working with the users and building the associated reports, dashboards, scorecards, etc.
Develop an expert understanding of the current data architecture in order to support our BI solution
Work closely with internal business analysts to provide technical review and development estimation based on wireframes and desired metrics defined by business teams
Analyze performance of documented resolutions, identify problem areas, and devise and deliver solutions to enhance quality of service and to prevent future problems.
Ensure all improvements made to the division or organization support the organization to increase profit, maintain quality and/or reduce risks
