Our “A” list client is seeking a First Line Support Engineer to join their fast growing dynamic team.
Skills Required:
Standard 10/Grade 12
Relevant degree/diploma
Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
2 to 3 years first line support experience
Exposure to 2nd line support advantageous
Experience using Active Directory
Own vehicle
Strong communication skills
Able to work under pressure
Financial planning understanding essential
Functional knowledge of Client Relationship Software would be an advantage
The successful candidate must have excellent telephonic communication skills and must be able to work in a pressurised environment when there is a network failure.
Some responsibilities will include assisting clients with troubleshooting their Internet and email connections. Assisting Analogue Dialup, ISDN, ADSL and wireless clients. Assisting clients to setup their Internet and Email connection. Assisting ADSL users to configure their modems/routers. Assisting clients with general hardware/software problems. Working in a pressurized environment when there is a network failure.
