My client, one of the leaders in the Logistics industry, is expanding their organization and they are looking for an efficient Receiving Manager. This successful person will be responsible for the receiving and delivery of goods managing the warehouse stock as well as the processes to ensure correct deliveries and customer service.This company is continuously growing in the market with future developments that will guarantee a successful career. In this positon you need to be career driven, focused and very efficient as this position is a challenging one.

Qualification:
Matric is essential
Logistics/Warehouse/Supply Chain qualification
Equivalent tertiary education will be considered

Experience:
Minimum 2 - 3 years’ experience in Logistics/ Warehouse environment
Previous experience in receiving/ dispatching of goods within the parts/ automotive industry

Skills Required:
Ensure trucks are loaded with the correct stock
Stock control management
Complete daily check lists regarding the stock and deliveries
Staff management needs
Ensure that deliveries are met timeously and Service levels are maintained with the client
Adherence to Health and Safety regulations within the warehouse environment
Monitor staff requirements
Report truck incidents and accidents
Highlight arrival of trucks
Coordination of routes and trucks involved in supplier deliveries
Training and mentoring of staff to increase productivity and motivation
