My client in Cape Town islooking for a Desktop Support Technician for a 6 months' contract. The successful candidate willprovide first and second line technical support on all workstations within the area

My client in Cape Town is lookingfor a Desktop Support Technician for a 6 months' contract. The successful candidate will providefirst and second line technical support on all workstations within the area
 
Minimum Requirements:
- A+, N+ certification
- 3 years experience in the supportenvironment
- Corporate environment exposure

Deliver first and second linetechnical support on all workstations within area of service.
Responsible for upgrading andmaintaining end-user software versions and equipment.
Co-ordinate, install, set up andcomplete departmental moves with regards to IT equipment.
Effective and efficient handlingof assigned incidents.
Maintenance of all hardware on workstations.
Schedulestandby for after hour support
Identify financial and business risks to the company andescalate accordingly.
Ensure end user satisfaction with excellent service with regards toassigned incidents.
Professional and efficient communication to relevant stakeholders.
Support effective teamwork
