Business Connexion is a leading ICT service provider and our Centurion office is looking for a Software Developer with SQL, SSRS and SSIS experience. In this position you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing and maintaining solutions and packages using the Microsoft SSIS/SSRS toolsets. If you have 5 years experience in Microsoft SQL Server 2014 with BI including SSIS and SSRS, we would like to hear from you!

Your responsibilities will include the following:

Compiling SQL scripts and code
Automation
Documentation
Interpret and decode the requirements of the client.
Develop or maintain the processes to:
Read data from various sources
Transformation and scrubbing of data
Import, upload and write data to warehouse
Manipulate data from warehouse to create sensible and meaningful reports
Write reporting output to various outputs formats
Optimize processesEducation:

Matric
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent
Experience

5 Years experience in Microsoft SQL Server 2014 with BI and higher including SSIS and SSRS
No previous experience working in government
SQL Server 2014

• Creation and maintenance of databases and tables• Basic understanding of data warehousing• Automation of developed SSIS/SSRS jobs using scheduling tools• Writing SQL code to answer ad-hoc requests

SSRS/ SSIS

• Understand client requirements and prepare technical documentation.• Technical design and development of the required programs / enhancements under leadership.• Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft/ SQL development tools, including database structure and data warehouse architecture.• Test and debug programs according to specifications.• Construct and implement programs.• Automation of processes
