Role details:
The purpose of the role is to achieve profitable sales for all Thusani Consulting services on a multi-trade basis through direct contact with new and existing clients.

• Would be responsible for building new relationships to promote the Thusani Consulting services across the business verticals.
• Would be responsible to engage with the Bid Manager & sales team to ensure customer expectations are met and delivery is signed off from the customers.
• Would be responsible for in consultation with the Bid Manager creating proposals, follow-ups and closure of sales process.
• Would be responsible for the overall business development and sales leading to Revenues from the specified business verticals.
• In partnership with the Bid team, the incumbent would be responsible for formulating strategic plans that guide the overall strategic direction for the business in the specified business verticals.
• Would be responsible for reporting progress of the Key Account to Bid Manager and Directors.
• Achieve & Exceed target in value and volume
• Plan and organize sales activities
• Make effective visits to customers to obtain factual information
• Report accurately on customers visits and keep customer information on database.
• Arrange appropriate follow-up of customers visits
• Expand the boundaries of current business
• Exceed sales budget
• Strategies developed to stay ahead of competition
• Administration and reporting procedures prior to handover of client to operations.
• Be able to adapt and live to the company values

Business:

• Execute sales strategies and create buy-ins for these strategies among the team members and Management.
• Implement the company's mission and objectives with a go-to-market business plan and promote the company revenue, profitability, and growth.
• Plan, develop, and implement strategies for generating resources and/or revenues for the company.
Customer:
• Develop Brand Vision to raise customer confidence.
• Build strong relationship with prospects and customers.
• Promote the company through participation in industry-specific conferences and symposiums.

Job Requirements:
• A Graduate or Post Graduate degree in the relevant field.
• 5 years experience
• Successful Sales experience with a large corporations
• Significant experience, in a lead role, in the development and successful implementation of Business Development strategies in relevant functional areas
• Demonstrable experience and skills in building positive and productive relationships, with teams, partners, and customers
• Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate an idea and execute.
• Integrity, strong values, and customer focus
• Demonstrated expertise in problem solving and negotiating skills
• Able to prioritize business objectives and demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and motivate a team to deliver the desired results.
• Work requires willingness to work on a flexible schedule and travel.
