TheRole This roles requires:
Business Degree or Diplomaadvantageous
Key Accountabilities
Business ProcessDevelopment
Design and build process flows in AWD
Provide input to project plans and scope
Development andexecution of technical test packs
Provide production application support
Adhering to the Silica ChangeManagement Process
Create and execute SQL scripts to aid the process of data interrogation andextraction.
Gain a thorough knowledge of the AWD product suite, peripherals and other integratedsoftware applications consumed within Silica.
To ensure that all allocated work is completed to a highlevel of quality.
Testing the quality of your development in accordance with the requirement
Adherence to the AWDTeam Design Principles
To keep up to date with the ever growing and expanding technologies in order to staycompetitive and provide the best solution to clients based on the best tools available.
To undertakeself-training and development to increase technical skills.
Deliver against the Silica Project Methodology interms of communication and relevance to the various teams
Skills & Experience
Business process Design/Analysis experience
Understanding of automatedbusiness process management concepts and related technologies like Electronic Faxing, e-mailInterfaces, ICR/OCR, CRM, Thin Client, Web Services and System Integration etc
Analytical thinking&
A goodunderstanding of business process, specifically within the financial services sectoradvantageous
Experience in building workflows in a BPM application (eg: AWD, Tipco, Bizaggi,Pegasus etc)
Exposure to agile methodologies e.g. Scrum would be beneficial (not mandatory, but anadvantage)
Good understanding of the system development life cycle.
Experience with softwareimplementation across multiple projects preferable.
Experience with working in project teamspreferable.
Knowledge of the BPMN (not mandatory, but an advantage)
Knowledge of MS SQL(not mandatory, but an advantage)
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Analysis and testing experiencewithin the SDLC (formal testing training advantageous)
UML and object oriented programming (notmandatory, but an advantage)
Understanding of financial services and/or UT/LISP industryoperations
Personality and Attributes
