Job Purpose
Good knowledge and understanding of batch run processes in a large banking enterprise and the use of associated tools and good understanding of related multiplatform operating systems, databases and communication protocols.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities - Active and proactive engagements with stakeholders
- Understanding of Remedy
- Build and maintain schedules
- Performance tuning of batch schedules
- Formal and informal presentations to stakeholder and peers
- Creation of JCL procedures
- Risk Management Identify, log and mitigate the risks identified
- Development of MIS reports for stakeholders
- Formal reports for management
- Creation of scripts for automation of batch processes for stakeholder
- Standby and TWS support after hours is required
Preferred Qualification and Experience
Qualification:
Scheduling administration certification or at least 4 years scheduling experience will be beneficial
Completed JCL course, REXX Course, Scripting course, SQL Course, An understanding of the development lifecycle. Programming course would be beneficial. Some development experience would be beneficial.
Experience:
3-4 in same or similar role
Knowledge/Technical Skills/Expertise
