SENIOR PROGRAMME MANAGER: CORPORATE CORE APPLICATION ENVIRONMENT

(9-YEAR CONTRACT ROLE)

TCOE SALARY: COMMENCING R1 539 907 PER ANNUM

REF NO: CS 90/20

The City of Cape Town is currently embarking on the digital transformation change for its core application environment (ERP, Productivity and GIS systems). This role will oversee multiple projects and programmes to ensure delivery of a significant 10-year programme plan.

Requirements:

• B degree (preferably specialised in Computer Science/Information Technology/Business Science) coupled with extensive experience in leading and delivering digital transformation programs and an understanding of the future trends of ERP, Productivity and GIS systems
• Appropriate level and demonstrated competence in the field of relevant IT based program methodologies and effective stakeholder and leadership skills.
• Up to eight (8) years’ relevant experience.

Key performance areas:

• Leading and ensuring the successful delivery of the CAR digital programme
• Proven leadership techniques and talent strategy to drive successful change and change delivery in an evolving dynamic world
• Stakeholder and people management: Navigate the connections and dependencies in the PPM ecosystem to realise business and IT strategy
• Managing the scope, organisation structure and roles of the programme management function now and in the future to ensure effective support enabling constant change within financial constraints
• Working closely with the integration project team to ensure new platforms capture and export data in a way that meets requirements and develop a robust set of processes meet each partner's needs
• Providing visionary leadership and subject matter expertise on the programme.
