The above-mentioned positionis within the ICT Infrastructure Department.RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Reviewing project plans to determine time-frame, budget limitations, procedures for accomplishingscheduled work, staffing and administrative requirements and allocation of available resources tovarious phases of the project.
Establishing a work plan and staffing for each phase of theproject, and arranges the assignment of duties, responsibilities and scope of authority for projectpersonnel.
Directing and coordinating activities of project personnel to ensureproject’s progress is on schedule and within the prescribed budget.
Participating inpreparing financial and administrative-related plans for the project, getting the endorsement fromconcerned parties and monitoring the implementation of plans.
Preparing and coordinatingstaffing and all project-related administrative requirements to ensure proper logistical support forthe execution of the project.
Analyzing business requirements to propose and recommendprocedures that suit business environment and achieve the project objectives.
Identifyingopportunities to simplify, improve or redesign procedures and submitting reports withrecommendations in this regard.
Configuring, managing and supervising the implementation ofthe assigned project to ensure optimal utilization of resources and meeting the schedules.
Reviewing and study the status reports prepared by project engineers and modifying schedules orplans as required.
Coordinating the preparation and delivery of project deliverables to theOperations Manager for approval including, design documents, cost estimates, schedules and worksplans.
Managing and updating of the Master Project plan.
Reviewing and updating of projectfiles and documentation.
Conducting periodicmeetings with subordinates to follow-up on daily activities as per the set plans.
Preparing periodic reports with respect to the operationsunit’s activities and achievements to be submitted to the Operations Manager.
Following up on subordinates administrative affairs such as;vacation, leaves, etc.
Conducting performanceappraisals for subordinates according to the schedules plans and recommending necessary actions asper the adopted procedures.
Performing otherduties related to the job as assigned by the Operations Manager from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION:
Bachelor’s degree in an Information Technology
Project Management certification (Prince2/PMBOK)
