My client has an exciting opportunity for a System Analyst who will be responsible for creating a detailed design, high level mapping (data, process) and code design for components, prepare Component Design specification and ensure that the technical design will integrate to required systems, that the design is technically feasible and aligned to the business and technical strategy.
Qualification:
- B. Sc (Informatics or Mathematics)

Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the following:
- Analysing, designing and production of technical system specifications to modify existing systems and develop new ones.
- Responsible for enterprise-system implementation and all aspects of change-control at specific enterprise level
- Ensure that the technical design will integrate to required systems, that the design is technically feasible and aligned to the business and technical strategy.
- Assist in developing alternative solution proposals, and participate in the evaluation and selection process.
- Document the Decision Analysis & Resolution Report.
- Drafting of both technical and user documentation for the system
- Recommendation of systems to be used and overseeing the installation/implementation thereof
- Implement the Technical Specification using the relevant development language.
- Testing of the subsystem and interfaces between sub-systems
- Responsible for Quality Assurance at sub- system level
- Knowledge of business process and SDLC
- Thorough knowledge of Legacy, OO and Web systems
- Must be able to produce well written documentation
