In this role you will discover the importance of data visualization, machine learning, and big data -working with open data science tools. You will help clients discover value in data to find answers, monitor trends and detect patterns using AI infrastructure on the cloud.

Who you are:

• BSc Degree/ Honours in Data Mining or Statistics or Mathematical Statistics or Applied Mathematics, or Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Data Science capacity (Data mining, Statistical Mining or Mathematical modelling)
• Experienced using data manipulation software’s: SAS, SQL, Matlab, Python, Apache Spark, Azure, AWS, Hadoop, H20 AI platform.
• Strong Machine Learning, Deep Learning and AI Modelling Skills.

What is expected in the role:

• Undertake situation-analysis to diagnose current-state,
• Develop conceptual analytics frameworks, with analytical components.
• Clearly define the business requirement, and match the appropriate analytical approach, technique, methodology to the defined business requirement,
• Applying Supervised Learning, Unsupervised Learning and Reinforcement Learning methodologies where appropriate.
• Utilizing machine learning, deep learning and AI techniques and algorithms
• Test & validate the solution developed.
• Prepare technical & business documentation on the solution developed - formulate recommendations on actions to be taken.
• Present the solution to the project owner & stakeholders,
• Assist the project owner & stakeholders in implementation of the solution delivered.
