Telecommunications industry experience would be a huge advantage.

Education and Skills - Tertiary Education is a requirement; preferably an IT degree or Diploma, required for perm consideration
- 4 - 6 years' experience, post tertiary education
- Data integration experience a necessity
- DataStage experience an advantage
- UNIX knowledge advantageous
- Data warehousing design experience an advantage
- Programming skills an advantage (Java, PL/SQL)
Duties
- Successful delivery of projects
- Role will entail ETL-type design and delivery projects development, architecture consulting, as well as delivery solution architecture
- Business / Data Analysis
- Implement business specifications from internal and external customer user requirements using BI template
- Analyse sample data
- Develop and Implement
- Implement Technical specifications from specifications provided
- Data Staging (ETL Processes)
- Data transformation Services
- Unit testing on all implementations.
- User support
- Respond to queries pertaining to all data sets
- Change requests pertaining to relevant data sets
- All changes requests and queries logged to helpdesk
- Documentation
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for all processes and procedures.
