My client requires a qualified Earthmoving mechanic with 24 volt auto electrical and hydraulic experience to be based in our MCC (Maritime) Service Division as a field service technician at our Office in Durban.Trade Test certificate (red seal) Auto Electrical / Diesel Mechanic
Minimum of 5 years post apprenticeship experience
Computer Literate in order to diagnose.
Good Communication skills
OHSACT Compliant
Knowledge of PLC Systems (Programmable Logic Controller) and Can bus
Fault finding on PLC Circuits and Can Bus
Fault finding on electrical and mechanical components
Able to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics
Knowledge of layout, design and function of the hydraulic components
Able to plan the job
Prepared to travel local and overseas
Drivers License and passport essential
Duties of this post entails installation, commission and support of equipment as well as maintenance and repairs
Fully qualified candidates –(not semi skilled) Open to Equity
To reside in Durban (KZN)
No relocation allowance offered
Excellent Health for entry onto the docks and ports.
