Role details:
Responsible for building and developing business opportunities and revenue producing contracts for designated products with both existing and new clients. Responsible for providing technical support and service to customers of the Company. Responsible for training on the product to customers and internal staff.

Job Responsibilities:

Assumes responsibility for building and developing new revenue opportunities for designated products & services with new and existing Resellers.
- Manages, promotes and sells designated products.
- Focuses on reseller development through enablement, training, business planning, visits and meetings.
- Fulfills any marketing actions.
- Focuses on specific products to create demand.
- Defines and agrees on upliftment targets by selected reseller group to ensure frequency of orders and average order size.
- Maintains a current knowledge of industry trends, opportunities, channels, products and competitors to support the identification of business development opportunities.
- Initiates and closes only those sales opportunities which profitably balance client expectations with specific benefits of Company deliverables.
- Provides training on the product to customers and internal staff.

Assumes responsibility for effectively performing customer technical support functions.
- Handles in depth application and technical questions.
- Provides telephone and onsite assistance with installation.
- Assists smaller resellers with implementation for their customers. Provide pre- and post-sales support to sales and channel managers.
- Assists customer with troubleshooting system problems.

Assumes responsibility for ensuring professional relations with all customers and vendor.
- Provides weekly, monthly and quarterly sales forecasts where necessary
- Reports to Vendor on key successes and lost business.
- Attends all planning meetings.
- Ensures that customers are well informed through continual feedback and communication.
- Provides out-of-house customer technical training as necessary.
- Makes reseller and end user visits to stay current with customer needs.
- Resolves questions, requests, and problems promptly and courteously.
- Makes follow up calls to check on customer satisfaction with products and repairs.
- Maintains Company's professional reputation by providing superior customer service.
? Promotes goodwill and a positive image of Company.

Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective communication and coordination with Company personnel and Senior Management.
- Executes objectives as set on a quarterly basis.
- Provides in-house employee training as required.
- Acts as a resource and support to other team members.
- Obtains and conveys information as needed.
- Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant concerns.
- Attends and participates in meetings as assigned.
- Completes records, reports and documents as required.

Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or
assigned.
- Stays informed of industry, market, and product trends.
- Attends product training as requested.
- Attends trade seminars.
- Completes special projects as assigned.
- Any reasonable and lawful instruction related to work and given by an authorised person.


Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or a related field preferred or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Product certification as required.

-In depth technical knowledge of how products are installed and used by customers.
- Knowledge of the competitive environment and industry issues.
- Strong understanding of product sales and take to market systems.
- Knowledge of customer service and support processes.
- Presentation skills

3- or more years of related business development and technical support services.
- Must have experience in designated products.
- Proven successful track record.
