Role details:
To assist Account Managers in carrying out all their functions, including process of quotes, orders and administration in accordance with company procedures and expected service levels so that the company can deliver optimum service whilst achieving the company’s sales targets

Assumes responsibility for effectively supporting Account Managers and Channel Manager
• Processing quotes, orders and all related administration.
• Follows up on the admin around sales orders, making sure all information is complete before processing the sales order.
• Keep records of all orders taken and correspondence with customers.
• Making outbound calls to existing and potential customers.
• Receiving incoming calls and providing pricing information and quotes.
• Sending out sales brochures.
• Reviewing backorders / ETA dates and releasing available orders.
• Assists with finalizing the responses to tenders.
• Assisting customers in all areas in the absence of the Account Manager and Channel Manager ensuring continuity within the office.
• Liaising with resellers on availability of their sales orders.
• Liaising with Channel Managers regarding any product queries or stock issues.
• Ensure that company procedures are adhered to with respect to quoting, processing orders, payments and delivery of goods.

Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective working relations, communication and coordination with company personnel and management.
• Keeps manager informed of area activities and significant problems.
• Completes required reports and records accurately and promptly.
• Attends meetings as required.

Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
• Completes any administrative functions / special projects as assigned.
• Provides backup for other admin positions.
• Any reasonable and lawful instruction related to work and given by an authorized person.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

Matric.
Diploma in marketing or sales an advantage.
Must have knowledge of company or related products.
Knowledge of marketing distribution channels and dealer relationships.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in an administrative role within a reseller or distribution channel.
Sales and marketing experience preferred.
