An International Consulting House seeks an experienced Business Development Manager who will be responsible to build new Client Relationships, develop focused account plans, create value proposition to address the needs of the Clients. He or She will be further responsible for building a funnel of new opportunities and sell/manage business in Professional Services and Intellectual Property to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Develop strategic client relationships which result in achievement of annual sales targets
• Act as a trusted advisor in the field of business performance improvement
• Develop and implement sales strategy to meet the Company’s Targets
• Work closely with Operational Teams to create a compelling value proposition to address Client/Industry issues
• Assist with the MD on building the Company Strategy and to go-to-market approach
• Take an active role in planning, preparation, and execution of client forums and internal personnel development
• Develop a standardised sales process with the required tools and templates to enable all team members involved in sales
• Implement and manage a customised CRM system to track and manage all prospective client interactions
• Demonstrate thought leadership through publications and active participation in conferences
• Maintain several strong external networks through professional contacts
• Excellent Communication Skills and be a strategic Sales person

Please note this is NOT a Product Sales role, this is understanding the Strategy of a Business and assisting them in improving processes to decrease cost and increase efficiencies.
Qualifications Required:
• Relevant Tertiary Education
• 4 – 8 years experience in selling Consulting Services to Executive Level Clients
• Experience and insight into Enterprise-Wide Business Transformation Groups
• Expertise in Operational Excellence including Lean, Six Sigma and Innovation
• A strong track record in selling and managing delivery of sales targets and maintaining the Sales Process
• Experience, knowledge and thought leadership in multiple vertical industries
• Expertise in Strategic Thinking (Strategic Dynamic), Strategic Planning, Balanced Scorecard, Change Leadership and/or Systems Thinking would be a great advantage
