Role details:
Provide guidance in order to drive and manage SAP HEC technical architecture across various teams and Business Units and to make critical informed decisions in regards to the product set.

ROLES

•Provide guidance to drive and manage SAP HEC technical architecture.
•Apply technical knowledge to real business requirements.
•Determine and formulate strategic planning, or directing, implementing and co-ordinating the policies and activities of the organisation to enable effective selling of the SAP HEC solutions
•Present different models to the customer that communicate how those needs may be met as an essential participant in the consultative selling process
•Research on new and emerging technologies to create and present business cases

OUTCOMES

•Across various teams and Business Units and to make critical informed decisions in regards to the product set.
•To ensure a cost effective, executable solution is if satisfies the client requirements as well as providing value-add.The solution can include products or services spanning the complete SAP HEC portfolio, as well as, when necessary, products/services external to it that could potentially be impacted. This function requires the provision of complex, in depth technology solutions to existing and prospective customers.
•The SAP HEC Solutions Architect is involved in the entire process, beginning with working with the customer to understand real needs, as opposed to wants, and then throughout the process to translate those needs into capabilities verified to meet the needs
•The architect is not the builder, and must remain at a level of abstraction necessary to ensure s/he does not get in the way of practical implementation.
•To determine the applicability of such technologies to the BCX environment.
•To deploy new technologies into the BCX arena.

Job Requirements -

EDUCATION
•NQF 6
•Tertiary qualification
•Business management will be a recommendation

EXPERIENCE
•At least 8 to 12 years experience at the senior consultant level
•Extensive technology experience across a wide range i.e. ERP, Apps, Infrastructure etc.
