Passionate, articulate and creative Senior Marketing Specialist sought for established brand. For over three decades, our client has been at the forefront of their game and have received top accolades in their industry year after year. Their name has become synonymous with innovation and positioned them as a leading industry voice. They are looking for a driven, hands-on and innovative Brand Manager who is happy to drive and run with campaigns from start to finish. If hired, you will assist with the implementation and co-ordination of the marketing strategy for a massive portfolio. This will include campaign planning and management of the brandsí marketing campaigns, partner campaigns and adhoc marketing roll out plans; managing the application of the CI in various platforms or media; managing signage requirements; evaluating sponsorship requests and managing sponsorships, functions and events; managing the brandsí social media and website presence; internal promotion of the brands and internal marketing communication: agency briefs; competitor analysis; assisting sales teams with idea creation and implementation and providing sales fulfilment material; as well as implementing bulk and direct mail campaigns and other direct marketing initiatives. You will also be responsible for associated marketing administration functions such as managing marketing stock items; distributing marketing materials; administering marketing budget; managing sponsorship documentation; handling marketing requests; managing marketing databases; researching new marketing trends; relationship building with suppliers, internal customers and partners; and general office administration to name a few. The role will call on your highly effective verbal and written communications skills and your ability to articulate your ideas effectively. You should be well versed in brand strategy development and implementation, marketing and promotions, reputation management, and the application of social media for marketing purposes. This position would suit a perfectionist with an eye for detail; a team player; a relationship builder; and someone who is creatively analytical - able to make sense of complicated research and translate numbers into creative messages that deliver results. To apply you will need a BCom Marketing Degree (or similar NQF6+ Marketing qualification) and a minimum of 5 yearsí Marketing experience. Your experience should span across the marketing industry as a whole including all disciplines (PR, sponsorship, ATL, BTL, TTL, online, social media) and you should have a strong background in terms of web/online/search marketing as well as the management of brand within the context of social media. It is essential that you are proficient at an advanced level in Excel, Word & PowerPoint and have knowledge of printing, file types, colours, paper, materials (vinyl/Perspex), dies fabrications, lighting and distribution.
