Role details:
To assist in developing and maintaining solutions for both internal and external clients. This includes: defining, designing, developing, testing, documenting. To lead and mentor multiple development/test teams and drive on-time solution delivery

Key Deliverables / Primary Functions
• Coordinate ECIS Software projects and develop solutions using relevant technology i.e. Java etc. while ensuring adherence to systems development standards, and best practices.
• Design, development, testing, and maintenance standards and best practices, to ensure automations, development meet business requirements and targets for efficiency.
• Coordinate the automation of internal and external project teams ensuring adherence to solution architecture, standards, and best practices, as well as, on-time solution delivery.
• Guide end users, as well as team members, in design, development, testing and maintenance of automation/software projects.
• Create well-documented and reusable assets within the Developer solution architecture.
• Create and maintain solution documentation.
• Recommend altering existing processes if needed to improve automation/ECIS Software operations potential.
• Problem solve issues that arise in day-to-day automation operations/ECIS Software operations.
• Assist with the facilitating of training and product sessions for the team, business users, and IT.
• Identify and communicate project risks and issues to management.

Qualifications
Grade 12 with the relevant IT Certification

Experience
2 years’ automation/developer experience and leading teams to drive on-time solution delivery.
