Role details:
-The Project Manager will be responsible for collaborative planning, organizing, monitoring, execution of the SDLC and other Project Management responsibilities: to deliver products and solutions in alignment with client and market partners. You will also be responsible for the management of in-house projects, communication, and industry- solution marketing campaigns and events for both RSA and Africa Businesses

Qualifications and experience:
 

A related degree or qualification in Program/ Project management

 
 

Professional certification; PMP or Agile

 
 

Minumum 8 years' experience in managing large complex multidisciplinary projects.

 
 

Exposure in the Financial services and banking industry

KEY ACTIVITIES

Mobilise and manage complex projects / programmes through effective project management disciplines from conception to implementation.

 
 

Manage project parameters; active scope management and focus on delivery of agreed project deliverables within the life cycle approach.

 
 

Integrates the project deliverable into the project programme or portfolio, where the project comprises part of a larger programme, or delivers into a portfolio of projects.

 
 

Active stakeholder management, continuously manage stakeholder's expectations and understanding. Works with customers to develop project scope of work documents/ project management plans and project schedules.

 
 

Provide project visibility, develop and communicate a single point of focus for all project issues, governance, escalation of risks and issues to all relevant parties and stakeholders.

 
 

Identify and evaluate alternative solutions to best meet program goals

 
 

Take ownership of delivering projects

 
 

Drive project management to manage project resources, identify resource requirements, meet training needs, define project deliverables, provide customer satisfaction and reporting structures and ensure quality of projects.

 
 

Provide input into the Project Office reporting, including updating the Project Management application

 
 

Overall control, management and reporting on Project Status, Costs, Issues and Risks

 
 

Manage escalations, risks and issues.

 
 

Implementation and control of project change management process

 
 

Implementation and Project Productionisation responsibility

 
 

Be seen as an enabler driving project success
