Role details:
To assist, when and asrequired, in project cost estimates for tender projects, or engineering services to aid managementin bidding on or determining the price of projects or services. Duties include:  Evaluates electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing andconducting research; applying knowledge of electricity and materials  Confirms system's and components' capabilities of each project requirement  Develops electrical products by studying customer requirements; researching and testingmanufacturing and assembly methods and materials  Develop and interpret engineering schematic drawings and information  Develop and complete products or materials data sheets, loop drawings, controllers, networkrequirements and software specifications  Write User Requirements Specifications (URS), Functional Design Specification (FDS),Control P Develop materials data sheets, loop drawings, controllers, network requirementsand software specifications  Write program code for Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and, design and configureSupervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), according to the customer requirements  Design and Configure network protocols and, offer basic IT helpdesk computers and networks Commissioning of electrical systems, automation of PLC, SCADA, HMI, and instruments.  Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops;reviewing professional publications;  Establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies  Supervise junior design engineers, manufacturing process and commissioning.  Train and supervise other electrical engineering trainees on system tools and products.  Commissioning, configuration and setting up of soft starters and drives.  Calculate, design, Specify material for manufacturing and installation, and supervise theelectrical design, manufacturing and installation of PLC, SCADA, HMI panels.  Develop and compile overall project documents and equipment manuals with drawings and,technical proposals and reports philosophy and other project requirements documentation

Skills and Experience
