Responsibilities:

Drive business profitability inthe context of cost management through IT solutions and increase operational efficiency and suggestsolutions to enhance cost effectiveness
IT Service Delivery:Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customers’ expectations through proactive, innovativeand appropriate solutions by resolving queries fast and effective
IT Businessand Partnership Management: Cultivate and manage objective working relationships witha variety of stakeholders, including end-users, SME’s, project managers and senior staffmembers by providing input to business requirements
Testing Capacity Modelachievements: Manage achievement of required execution of service activities capturedin the Testing Capacity Model, by receiving and allocating of test requirements
Test Analysis, Design and Execution: Do test plans by performingregression tests (existing functions). Create design steps from test cases in the Quality Centre,Execute system validation plans (new function) and liaise with the Business Analysts and technicalteams in order to compile test scripts
Corporate Governance according IT TestMethodology and Risk: Comply, understand and implement all steps and methodologywithin IT development and meet governance in terms of legislative and audit, risk FAIS and FICArequirements for the Test Analysis Environment
Testing Automation Scripts andUpdate Process: Upgrade existing test scripts to effectively test enhancements and newrequirements and execute automated test scripts
Testing ProjectActivities: Coordinate and execute all Test Activities for allocated projects. Prepareand submit test plans for sign-off. Ensure alignment between test environment and productionenvironment; treat production issues as first priority
Test Analysis QualityAssurance: Manage testing defects and involve relevant business staff in qualityassurance testing analysis
Test Analysis Business Manuals andGuides: Contribute towards content of procedure guides and manuals for businessusers
Operational Efficiency Test Analysis: Provision of anefficient administration service for the test analysis function through careful and timeousplanning, reporting and updating of all related information

Competencies:

ICT Environment: Related toown sphere work e.g. customers, suppliers partners etc. in particular own organization’stechnical platforms and those that interface to them through the specialism including those inclosely related organizations.
Software Testing: Testingtechniques used to plan and execute software tests of all application components (functional andnon-functional) to verify that the software satisfies specified requirements and to detect errors.E.g. dynamic testing techniques, static testing techniques, non-functional testing techniques, testautomation techniques.
Networks and Communications: The planningand management of the interaction between two or more networking facilities by the use andapplication of strict change management and recording
Scripting and ProgrammingLanguages: A set of codes and syntax that can be inserted directly into Page mark-upLanguages and that adds functionality to a web page E.g.: VB Script, JavaScript
Application Systems: The application of automated systems to thesupport of specific business functions or processes. E.g. Business Systems, Messaging and Groupware,Content Management Systems, Enterprise Resource Planning
