Role details:
The main function is the management of sales operations including managing the account management personnel. The management of the sales operation includes establishment and developing short-term and long-term sales policies and sales objectives, in consultation with management. You will be required to identify and select the correct targeted client (new and existing clients) and engage with the correct decision makers. As a Sales Manager, you will be required to prioritize what opportunities are to be pursued and how much time and effort is spent on each of the leads.

SKILLS REQUIRED
Five + years in a sales representative role; within industry preferred

Sales
Manage the entire sales process to ensure delivery against key performance metrics, with a strong emphasis on new business sales whilst expanding existing accounts.
Managing strategic accounts and relationships across the Account team. You will be responsible for maximizing our Account team potential, identify weakness and addressing them
Drive Pipeline development through a combination of cold calling, email campaigns and market sector knowledge/intelligence together with the Account Manager
Create and maintain a sales pipeline to ensure over-achievement within the insurance industry, updating sales plans on a weekly base and justifying those to plans with targets to management.
Identify emerging markets and market shifts, engage with prospect clients to position Genasys product solutions using value based selling, differentiate our solution, design business case definition, ROI analysis, references and analyst data
Being fully aware of new products and competition status, update competitor analysis
Manage the end to end sales process through engagement of appropriate resources, you will OWN the deal and the process
Designing responses to RFPs
Daily update of the Genasys CRM system with accurate customer and pipeline data.
Accurate weekly, monthly and quarterly forecasting and revenue delivery.
Strengthen client relationships through regular engagement and face-to-face meetings
Attending industry events and user groups to generate market interest against agreed budget
Present the benefits of upgrades to existing clients
Ensure risk and issues are escalated and managed in a timely fashion
Solutions
Facilitation of POCs and GAP analysis workshops
Investigate and assess project items/deliverables and propose a solution when required
Assist in providing accurate time estimates per task
Develop a POC solution in accordance with the Technical specification and accordance with the time estimate
Assist with the training of client staff in event of POC
Test the POC solutions before handover to new or existing Client
Escalate Scope changes within a project where identified and issues to Account Manager and Project Manager Responsible for own rework
Focus on the quality of work
Administration / Reporting
Ensure that objectives of Account Managers are aligned to business needs, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands existing clients income
Continue to build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with our existing clients and understanding their needs
Managing the profitability of each client with the respective account manager
Achieve growth and hit sales targets within the clients by managing the account team
Responsible to understand the dynamics of the client with each AM, ensure the following is in place;
