A large IT distribution company in Midrand is looking for a Business Development Managerwith Lenovo Enterprise product sales experience

Duties:

Promote the sale of products by identifying client relationships, increasing the skilllevel within the company and advising clients in configuration and pricing of the solutions
Promote the sale of products effectively and efficiently to customers via personal visits,telephone and email contact, marketing and training events
Prospect for new customers andgenerate interest in products with clients currently no reselling from the company
Identifyand develop underperforming customers
Work closely within the vendor on deals/tenders toensure they are secured for the company and its resellers
Involve the vendor and sales incustomer meetings, be tactful in the approach and follow through with at least three key actionpoints per meeting
Work closely with resellers, understand their targets from the vendorand gain majority market share within their businesses
Provide first level technical adviceon products and keep customers informed of new developments in product set
Professionallyand efficiently manage customers engagement with a view to maximizing the client experience
Report on lost deals with reasons and pending deals (pipeline)
Display accuracyregarding messages, quotes, orders and information given
Answer customer queries, offerproduct information
Consult with clients to establish the needs of their business
Ensure customer expectations are met - order taking and delivery
Increase overallcustomer satisfaction of new and existing customers base in order to be effective in solvingchallenges that arise and need to be solved for the customers
Report weekly on allactivities wins and losses
Build and maintain relationships with existing and new businesspartners
Business development and program management within your allocated business partneraccounts
Recruitment and enablement of new business partners
Account planning andperformance analysis
Exceed sales targets
Preparing partner plans and businessdevelopment plans
Training business partners on Lenovo Enterprise sales and incentiveprogrammes
Facilitating technical and brand sales training for your business partners
Facilitating and assistance with marketing events to generate leads for your businesspartners

Requirements:

Matric
Drivers License andOwn Car
It distribution industry experience
Minimum 3 years sales experience andbusiness development experience in Lenovo Enterprise products
Lenovo Enterprise salescertifications will be an advantage
