USB Executive Development Ltd (USB-ED) is looking for a middleweight Web Developer/Designer to join our growing marketing department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Development and maintenance of the USB-ED website (back and front end)
- Coding & set-up of bulk emails
- Development of applications for social media campaigns
- Management of the Learner Management System
- Contribute innovative thinking to brainstorms
- Minimum 3 years working experience
- Good understanding of Social Media and Web 2.0
- Competency in using MS Office, Excel, Outlook, Adobe software (Photoshop, Dreamweaver etc.) or equivalent
- Experience in building mailing templates that work across all mail clients
- Understanding of SEO best practice in web design
- Designing and building rich media banners
- Working knowledge of:
HTML
CSS (Styling and Layout)
Flash
JavaScript
Form Functionality
All aspects of design
Google Analytics
jQuery
Advantageous
- Exposure to programming
- Experience working closely with programming team
- Ability to code asp.net
- Experience in building Flash applications in Facebook
- Have experience working in an executive education environment
This person should preferably:
- Be able to operate independently, but also work as a member of a team
- Be self-motivated
- Have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Have strong communications skills
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Be able to use initiative in problem-solving
- Own a task and manage it from start to completion
