Our client, A Global Engineering and Management Consultancy is looking for an accomplished and experienced Bridge Engineer to join their project team in the Durban Office.Minimum Requirements:
Post Graduate Degrees - BSc Engineering Honours (Civil)Engineering Degree Qualified (or equivalent)
12-15 years’ experience in bridge design
Hands on experience of concrete and composite construction
Working knowledge of bridge design software (e.g. Prokon)
Experience of a range of bridge engineering solutions
Experience, with the ability to work with team members and technicians to undertake construction drawings
Experience working in or with a multi-disciplinary design consultancy
A strong technical focus
Capability to carry out independent design checks
Capability to work to deadlines and work autonomously when required
Experience of preparing detailed construction drawings including reinforcement detailing
