Job Description -

BCX seeks the expertise of a well versed ICT Solution Executive for Channel Portfolio Management within Medium Business Solutions. The successful incumbent will be tasked to manage and direct the Business Development Planning or Sales and Design or Implementation, Maintenance and Support business processes in alignment with the strategic business objectives of the region and BCX.

JOB DISCRIPTION:

Position and implement the Telkom Business Connexion Channel and Portfolio Strategy by:

•Developing and implementing the Channel Sales Management strategy, processes, procedures and relationships
•Researching, maintaining and implementing alternative sales channel options on a segmentation basis, based on customer usage and purchase behaviour
•Developing proper commercial/ incentive/ commissioning reward programmes aligned to support strategy
•Defining and setting sales objectives per customer/ product segment in most appropriate channels
•Developing and ensuring the implementation of a reseller strategy and legal contracts
•Maintaining an efficient reseller network
•Maintaining positive partner relationships
•Growing distribution footprint through partner network throughout the country for optimum coverage
•Identifying new reseller entrants to the market and assess possibilities and opportunities.
•Ensuring the implementation of a monthly revenue and channel performance stream audit
•Implementing knowledge management and project management principles
•Implementing effective control and performance measures
•Overseeing of the Business Connexion Channel Management business operations
•Overseeing partner/reseller relationship management
•Implementing follow-up measures and track revenue and channel performance streams
•Ensuring cost to serve is optimized or lowered
•Ensuring the legality of all partner contracts (including pricing structure and commercial viability)
•Ensuring compliance with legal requirements and application of control measures
•Customers (Satisfied Customers)
•Build strategic relationships with Channel Management stakeholders
•Identify business partners and establish relationships
•Work in close collaboration with channel managers
•Actively engage in CPM/ CRM with segment managers
•Provide an enabling environment for partners to operate in
•Provide the appropriate support systems for the channel and partners
•Introduce channel partner loyalty and recognition programmes
•Implement knowledge management principles and project management principles
•Apply business modelling procedures to improve customer satisfaction and revenue stream
•Provide leadership to channel management team
•Motivate, lead, guide and mentor staff in pursuit of portfolio
•Set performance targets both on qualitative as well as a quantitative level
•Develop staff for proper bench strength
•Set and monitor stretched performance targets to increase revenue and manage team's performance accordingly
•Continuously motivate staff, recognising and rewarding behaviour congruent with BCX’s desired culture and values
•Ensure the implementation of effective personal and career development initiatives
•Drive interventions aimed at enabling the wellness of staff and a healthy work environment and culture within the workplace
•Facilitate sound employee relationships and team effectiveness
•Ensure staff compliments that comply with EE/ diversity targets

Job Requirements -
EDUCATION:

Relevant degree/ diploma (NQF level 7), preferably in marketing or engineering.

EXPERIENCE:

10-15 years ICT experience 5 -8 years at management level
