My client in Centurion is lookingfor a strong first line support technician that is able to assist in resolving tickets/incidents andnot just assign to second line engineers. Person must be a go-getter, energetic, technically mindedand must be able to think outside the box. The position is for a 6 months' contract.

Deliver first and second linetechnical support on all workstations within area of service to end users
Effective andefficient handling of incidents (Take load off second line engineers)
Maintenance of allhardware on workstations.
Ensure end user satisfaction with excellent service with regardsto assigned incidents.
Professional and efficient communication to relevantstakeholders.
Support effective teamwork
Install, upgrade and troubleshootsoftware, hardware and printers
Provide VPN user support
Set up desktop, laptopsand create user accounts
Ensure backups are done before reloading
Install servicepacks and other software applications
