Minimum years of experience:
Essential: Minimum of 5 years relevant experience, Experience of related
Retail modules/processes, Strong business facing consultancy experience.
Integration experience to F&R.
Advantage: 8 years’ experience in IS Retail Project Lifecycle.

Minimum Qualification:
Essential: Grade 12 – Matric or a Senior Certificate
Advantage: SAP IS Retail. Tertiary qualification (BCom, BTech,
NDip)

Competencies:
Knowledge:
Essential: Solid implementation, configuration and functional and technical experience, Strong SAP MM skills in procurement, inventory management and MRP.
Good understanding of SAP SD functionality. Supply chain and retail processes. Business standards.
Understands the general strategic and operational dimensions of the relevant industry and applies to solution.

Advantage: Have retail experience.

Function and Duties:
Retail Support Administration:
•
o Report to and assist the SAP Manager.Maintain integrity and functionality of; design, spec, and provide reports from; the SAP Retail.

o Create of Business Requirement Documents (BRD) to improve or enhance business processes and reporting within the SAP IS Retail Module.

o Perform and documenting detailed testing of all these improvements, enhancements and reports.

o Analyse trends visible from support, and suggesting improvements to the system or business processes
Do not divulge any confidential information (sales, turnover, costs, agreements of any kind, financial information) to anyone.
SAP Administration:
• Ensure to analyse business requirements as per company procedure.
• Define functional specifications.
• Conduct development of related business processes.
• Design and implementation of full solutions.
• Identify integration issues and develop solutions to these issues.
• Take ownership of sub-plans for specific IBP’s and can plan own time to ensure project milestones are met.
• Maintain, change and support all relevant master data for SAP Retail.
• Practice quality assurance by testing the function of current and new processes by detecting and identifying any defects and to make sure those mistakes are eliminated.
• Monitor and ensure smooth integration between SAP and any other program that the SAP Retail side use like, but not limited to the following:
• Retail Master data - Article master, Site master, Merchandise Hierarchies, Article Hierarchies, TPI, etc.
• IS Retail Procurement to Pay processes including Retail replenishment, Merchandise Distribution, Rebates, Imports
• IS Retail POS Integration – Assortment list, POS Interface, Enterprise services - Desirable. o Integration experience to F&R.
• Assist with loading and resolving marketing queries (Bonus buys and promotions)
• Give regular feedback and provide assistance to the SAP Retail team, Stores and Management team.
Customer Service:
• Respond to and assist with any query, related to SAP Retail, from any company stakeholder, which include store and head-office staff, Managers, Suppliers, Customers, Auditors, and SAP Consultants.
• Be able to create and use excel spread sheets to give information to Senior Management when required.
• Establish and maintain a sound relationship with all
• Ensure frequent communication with all stakeholders both verbally and in writing regarding matters relating to the SAP Retail.
• Provide a friendly and efficient knowledgeable service to all stakeholders.
• Assist stakeholders with general queries as they come in or direct their queries to the relevant people if you are unable to assist with the necessary information
• Inform management of any discrepancies and unresolved matters
Problem Solving:
• Identifies and escalates issues and risks within defined structure
• Be able to take an issue, then plan and deliver a solution using own initiative, with little guidance.
• Perform in detail testing of all current and new processes within the business to eliminate any mistakes
• Report any form of discrepancies to management
• Close heat calls within SLA
• Attend to and amend any SAP Retail query or error experienced by any stakeholder.
• Assist Stores with SAP queries and problems during the work day, after hours and during weekends when needed
• Assist the Stores with their ordering, receiving, stock take, reporting, promotions and all general SAP process.
Human Resource;
• Assist with the management of day to day work of the SAP Retail team.
• Coach and develop skills within a team
• Create training material and providing training to users on these improvements, enhancements and reports
• Assist team members with general queries when needed.
• Provide training, create SAP tips and how to docs to staff when required.
