A young startup company in the mining information software space with global aspirations is seeking to employ a Chief Technology and Development Officer.

The successful applicant must hold an advanced degree in the computer sciences from a reputable University.
The successful applicant’s main Roles and Responsibilities would be as follows:

• Coordinate the development of the software system specification and liaise with the development house for this development
• Coordinate the development and migration of software system to Android
• Enhance the performance of the web applications and website
• Enhance the performance of the handheld devices
• Coordinate the development of additional modules and capability
• Be expert in various languages including Java, C++ and Sequel
• ERP integration experience in particular with SAP would be an advantage
• Be prepared to travel locally and internationally and get their hands dirty


Required qualifications and experience:

• BSc Information Technology degree. (Should have an IT related qualification from a well-known University in South Africa)
• Minimum of 5 years working experience.
• Must have managed people before
