Role details:
Team Leader role - manages a regional based field support team consisting of Specialists and Senior Specialists.
• General supervision of installation and operational support of Microsoft based infrastructure and related back-end systems.
• General supervision of installation and operational support of Virtualization Infrastructure and related back-end systems.
• Effectively executes all related tasks within the support areas with the focus on SLA management and delivery against these.

Key Deliverables / Primary Functions
• Acts as the customer facing interface between Customer/Account and 3rd parties
• Be first point of escalating for service delivery complaints (all priority levels) with support teams
• Coordinates all Project resources
• Oversees Service Management, Service Operations & Service Reviews to meet service standards in line with service level agreements and drive continuous service improvement
• ITIL based management methodology
• Management Reporting, Oversees Documentation and Technical Authoring
• Capacity management & data analysis

Qualifications
• Matric or Grade 12 or NQF4
• Information Technology - national diploma or bachelor’s degree (optional)
• Relevant Information Technology technical qualification
• Driver’s license minimum code 08

Experience
• Minimum of 6 years relevant technical and team lead experience
• Experience in cloud virtualization industry will be advantageous
• Technical understanding of the industry

• ITIL Foundation v3/v4
• VMware Certified Professional
• Microsoft Certified
• AWS Certified
