Great opportunity for a National Logistics Manager will be based in Durban.Qualification:
Degree: BCom. Supply chain Management / Logistics Management
2 – 4 years Supply Chain experience
Skills Required:
Excellent understanding of the FMCG business
Excellent understanding of order / inventory / warehousing and distribution activity
Microsoft applications (Advance excel).
SAP knowledge in the modules of IM and MM
Experience exposure to Logistics Service Provider management.
Display of excellent communication skills at all levels internal and external
Ability to develop good working relationships (team player)
Detailed understanding of contractual context between organisation and 3rd Party service providers.
Ensure short term and mid-term planning for depot and transport logistics.
Monitor daily service levels of relevant depots and customers.
Stock management
Pallet management
Warehouse inbounds management
Logistics query management
Service level management
Drive and implement continuous improvement initiatives with 3PL and 4PL.
