Ourclient, a leading distributor of hardware products has a challenging and rewarding positionavailable for a Business Development Manager in the “High Throughput satellite” space

JOB SPECIFICATIONS 
Purpose of position:
Promote the sale by developing client relationships, increasing the skill level within staff andclients, and advising clients in the configuration and pricing of the solutions.
 
Key Responsibility Areas:

Promote the sale of products effectively and efficiently to customers via personal visits,telephone and email contact, marketing and training events
Prospect for new customers andgenerate interest in products with clients currently not reselling from the organization
Identify and develop underperforming customers
Work closely with the vendor ondeals/tenders to ensure they are secured for the organization and its resellers
Involve theVendor and Sales in customer meetings, be tactful in the approach and follow through with at leastthree key action points per meeting
Work closely with resellers, understand their targetsfrom the vendor and gain majority market share within their businesses
Provide first leveltechnical advice on products and keep customers informed of new developments in product set
Professionally  and efficiently  manage  customers engagement with a view tomaximizing the client experience
Display accuracy regarding messages, quotes, orders andinformation given
Answer customer queries, offer product information
Consult withclients to establish the needs of their business
Ensure customer expectations are met(order taking and delivery
Increase overall customer satisfaction of new and existingcustomers’ base in order to be effective in solving challenges that arise, and need to besolved for the customers
Report weekly on all activities wins and losses 

Job Requirements:
Education & Experience 
  Matric/Grade 12
 
  Tertiary qualification preferential
 
  Minimum 3 years front line sales experience (essential)
Technical Competencies:
  Building and maintainingrelationships with your existing and new Business Partners
 
  Business development and program management within your allocated Business Partneraccounts
 
  Recruitment and enablement of new BusinessPartner
 
  Account planning and performanceanalysis
 
  Exceeding sales targets
 
  Preparing of Partner Plans and business development plans 
 
  Facilitating technical and brand salestraining for your Business Partners
 
  Facilitating and assistance with marketing events to generate leads for your BusinessPartners
Additional Requirement 
 
 
 
  Must have own transport andvalid driver’s license
