Role details:
SAP Basis specialist with technical abilities required for this unique and special position. You need to be analytical, practical and be in a position to spot problems before they arise. Renewable contract at great rates and the latest technology to work in.
Job Description
Responsible for the administration of all SAP solutions, environments and instances, ensuring their optimal performance and availability.
Requirements
At least 4 -7 years SAP Basis experience.
Extensive SAP knowledge practical system knowledge of at least 3-5 years.
Solid experience of Project Management methodologies in an SAP environment.
Proven knowledge/experience with the following technologies: Unix, Oracle, SAP ABAP and JAVA based systems on NetWeaver release.
Proven experience with SAP system health checks, dump/trace analysis and monitoring tools.
Strong experience in Solution Manager Configuration for systems CHARM and E2E Monitoring.
Duties and Responsibilities
Proactive monitoring and maintenance of the entire SAP Landscape
Key focus: Analysing and planning of SAP maintenance tasks and system changes together with the project management of all Technical (non-functional) projects for the supported landscapes.
Troubleshooting and problem solving of SAP PRD, INT and DEV environments.
Improvement and maintenance of the environments including patch management and upgrades.
Implementation and release of database changes according to agreed timescales, costs and change control.
Qualifications
Tertiary degree in IT
SAP Certification
ITIL process knowledge and work experience advantageous/ ITIL Foundation V3 certification is advantageous
