Our client, a Telecoms giant with nationwide operations is looking for a Snr Manager - Retail Operations, who will be responsible for the development and maintenance of business processes and systems for the Consumer Retail Operations domain and to cater for new systems and product enhancements to make and improve process efficiency within the retail shops. The successful incumbent will also be mandated to develop, implement and maintain a strategic end to end logistics system and service including pricing and deals for the Consumer Retail operations teams through the effective provisioning of proactive solutions and value added information. Provide an effective and efficient demand planning process, for all products, accessories and lifestyle propositions as a key element in the value chain for strategic purposes. To manage the tracking of demand trends, develop processes, methods and to provide supporting functions to enable the retail shops to meet the requirements and demand of present and future customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop, improve and maintain business processes and systems for the Retail shop business areas and to cater for new systems and products enhancements to make and improve process efficiency
- To define the project scope, investigating and collecting data, determining key measures, redesigning the process or system, testing the proposed changes, obtaining agreement on the proposed changes, ensuring business system readiness and implementing the agreed changes and measuring the results
- To provide a strategic end to end logistical service to the Retail shop teams through the effective provisioning of proactive solutions and value added information
- Enable efficient demand planning process, for all products & services as a key element in the value chain for strategic purposes
- Demand planning and management of Retail accessories and lifestyle products
- To manage the tracking of demand trends, develop processes, methods and to provide supporting functions to enable Retail shops to meet the requirements and demand of present and future customers
- To ensure demand planning accuracy
- Provide system and process support to the retail shops on all existing Procedures and Processes
- Maintaine Business Process/ Procedures
- Provide Information analysis of Complicated/ Technical processes and procedures
- Implement Business Plan & design operational plan for environment
- Provide appropriate training and development initiatives
- Drive implementation of solutions and special projects and monitor and measure success
- Provide team leadership by providing targets and measures for productivity and increased revenue flow
- Managing software and program enhancements and implementations from strategic plans to requirements gathering to execution
- Attend to ad-hoc requests e.g. special write off requests
- Build relationships with relevant stakeholders by building and managing internal and external customer relationships
- Manage internal and cross organisational projects and synergy initiatives
- Drive implementation of solutions and special projects and monitor and measure success
- Approval and sign off on all BPI's and relevant documentation impacting on the retail shop domain
- Coordinate processes, BPI's and interfaces impacting on the channel
- Compliance audits and recommendations
- Demand planning and forecasting with industry trends to maximize profits

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Relevant 3 year Degree/ Diploma (NQF level 6)
- 7 years relevant experience in Retail operations environment including 2 years middle management experience in the telecommunication industry.

OR

- Grade 12 (NQF level 4) [internal]
- 9 years relevant experience (experience in the Retail operations environment including 4 years middle management experience in the telecommunication industry).

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Willing and able to travel and work after hours
Valid driver's licence
