Role Title: Quantitative Analyst/Financial Modeller
Criteria and Experience
Mathematical/Analytical B.Sc. degree or B.Com Informatics degree with:
- 3 years experience in an analytical and modelling position (preferably in the banking sector)
OR
- Less than 3 years experience in an analytical and modelling position with a strong academic performance at university level
Core Technical Skills
Essential - must possess the following skills
Quantitative and analytical skills
Financial modelling skills
SAS programming preferable but background in another programming language would be considered
Ability to understand requirements from business and have a good understanding of business in general
Ability to do trend analyses, sensitivity analyses and build scenarios
Able to understand interrelatedness of numbers within a model
Good interpretation skills
Advanced Excel knowledge
