Our client in the Banking Sector based in George is looking for Private Banker Assistant to assist in managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring client profitability and retention.

Job Description:
•Achieve revenue targets by either growing a portfolio of existing clients (optimizing revenue opportunities) or by acquiring new clients.
•Provide sales support efficiencies and services to ensure retention of clients and satisfaction (measured by the Net Promoter Score).
•Understand and market all Transactional Banking products.
•Understand and market all Lending solutions offering (e.g. Overdrafts, Mortgage - Single Homeloan, Mortgage - Multiple asset/multiple property, Commercial Property Finance and Share Based Lending.
•Successfully implement, track and report on Client Campaigns and initiatives.
•Manage the growth of active customer Account Base to increase Client base and revenue.
•Deliver exceptional service that exceeds client expectations through proactive, innovative and appropriate solutions.
•Manage and grow portfolio through proactive client contact.
•Ensure client retention and satisfaction levels (measured via the Net Promoter Score).
•Ensure all client communication is conducted with the highest level of professionalism. All client queries or investigations are responded to proactively and within reasonable timeframes and that both the Client and the Private Banker are continually updated on progress.
•Provide and track accurate and reliable sales statistics via Siebel.
•Comply with governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements.
•Provide an efficient client focused administrative service through careful planning, reporting and updating of all related information.
•Co-ordinate and liaise with internal service provides e.g. Credit, Valuations, Legal, Fulfilment to ensure that client expectations are met.
•Assist to track, control and influence sales activities to increase efficiencies and client delivery.
•Manage the internal client related activities to ensure that the Private Banker’s time is optimized at all times to increase sales and client profitability.
•Manage own development to increase own competencies.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
•B.Comm (Commerce Stream)
•2-3 years’ experience within a Sales/Service environment. Financial Services experience is preferable.
