This unique logistics business builds individual systems for each client over and above just providing the means to move assets from A to B; as part of their brand differentiation they believe in building boutique solutions to match a clients need which obviously includes a large software component.They are after a Senior Technologist to take over Architecture and Technical Leadership. The role requires a formally trained Engineer, with Logistics experience and ideally some lead experience. The role will involve conceptualisation of problems/solutions; creation of solutions and then ultimate delivery.
Experience needed:
Some form of formal Engineering education;
10 years plus commercial experience;
Depth of knowledge across .NET;
Strong C# delivery knowledge;
Good knowledge of the popular techs within the framework;
Strong Web Based knowledge including HTML and Javascript architectural frameworks;
Good general knowledge and experience of architectural design principles – SOLID, GOF, Design Patterns, EAA;
Good Agile knowledge with knowledge of TDD;
General Source Control knowledge (TFS preferable);
Continuous build experience.
Permanent; East Rand, neg between R60k and R75k on experience and ability
