Reports to Manager: Microsoft. Test, implement, maintain, document and troubleshoot Microsoft Enterprise Management infrastructure solutions. Is a SMS – SCCM expert. Provide guidance and advice on technical architecture, capacity planning, design, security analysis and configuration of backup and recovery. Provide input to disaster recovery and planning, development tools, enhancements, testing, fixes and documentation. Provide engineering and 2nd and 3rd level technical support for the server and workstation remote environment and a variety of application software. Partake and implement projects.EDUCATION:
Grade 12 or equivalent tertiary qualifications with international MCSE or MCSA plus 7 years extensive specialist experience in a Microsoft infrastructure solution environment)

Operating systems: Windows server (NT – 2003) & workstation (Win 98 – Vista); TCP/IP, WINS, DNS and DHCP
Active Directory
Systems Management Server (SMS) 2003 or System Center Configuration Manager(SCCM) 2007
Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) 2005 / System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) 2007
Patch releases (Microsoft, firmware, fixes, security, etc.)
Testing hardware / software
Analytical skills
Technical writing skills.

GOOD Knowledge of:
Anti-Virus software (Trend Micro)
Server hardware & software (HP/Compaq, IBM, NLB, Cluster, Terminal Services, Citrix)
Storage hardware & software (EMC Clariion, NAS, Navisphere Manager, SnapView)
