Key ResponsibilityAreasResponsible for total sales number for productrange.
Drive sales team to grow vendor revenue in existing install base accounts and newaccounts, through focused marketing strategies, campaigns and end user enablement.
Ensurethat sales team is representing the interest of all the focused within each respective partner.
Provide accurate and regular sales forecasts and business updates to management and tovendors.
Work with sales team to ensure that each sales opportunity is driven asproactively as possible.
Engage in collaborative, strategic and tactical business planningwith key partners:
Identify new markets
Understand the partner salesprocess and develop a sales and marketing strategy to best suit the partner
Develop salestools to assist partner sales and pre-sales
Develop sales and marketing strategy to mineexisting customer base
Identify key new accounts and design a sales approach to bring newcustomer on board
Assist partner with broad-base marketing to promote their business
Assist partner with customer reference sites
Create and promote high impact andinnovate marketing programs and initiatives within the partners to generate new opportunities
Design partner enablement plans to ensure partner resources are skilled in the marketingprograms and products they are going to drive.
Develop enable programs for partners todrive into their existing and prospective base
Use best practices foropportunity management, account planning and forecasting.
Key role in defining andimplementing vendors overall strategy within the company.
Align vendors strategic focus tothe company resources and structures.
Developing and managing the Vendor relationshipacross a broad spectrum i.e.local and international.
Understanding the various targetmarkets and mapping the company's focus to these markets.
Defining and developingpartners focus by strategically aligning each partner to the objectives set out by the vendor,understanding how to develop partners and into what markets.
Implementing go to marketprograms to drive focus products and solutions.
Assisting in the recruiting and developmentof new vendor partners in respective territories or markets.
Managing the vendor partnerprogram.
Managing internal training and skills development for vendor products, ensuringthat company staff has the skill to represent the vendor's interests.
Defining andexecuting skills development programs for partners.
Work with partners to devise growthstrategies and implement these strategies.
Education and Experience
Three years salesexperience in the IT industry experience (essential)
Matric or equivalent distribution(preferred)
Two years sales experience selling to large corporate customers(preferred)
Account management experience (essential)
Matric certificate withexemption (essential)
Marketing or commerce degree or diploma (preferred)
Additional Requirement
Own car and valid driver's license
