Description

Define and implement a Route to Market strategy per region or market to support and optimise the Pioneer Foods International OGSM.
Identify and map trade and distribution channels and geographical location of business for all key export markets to define required market coverage objectives for key product categories, in line with consumer channel preferences.
Evaluate and benchmark existing RTM models used by leading local and global players by market, to define an optimal option-space model, inclusive of priority channels and servicing requirements, for all strategic markets.
Evaluate existing distributor capabilities by market and develop selection and performance measurement criteria to assess future distributors.
Evaluate existing supply chain capabilities in conjunction with International Logistics Manager to define optimal supply chain model to support in-country RTM models, inclusive of routing options and third party logistics providers.
Refine value chain models to effectively manage RTM and supply chain costs, reduce risks and optimise profitability.
Define and implement phased RTM evolution roadmaps for all key markets, with key activities and responsibilities, in conjunction with Commercial Heads, Export Business Managers and Logistics Manager.
Monitor on an ongoing basis RTM performance against set criteria dashboard and adjust model to ensure optimal product availability across trading channels.
Define trade marketing requirements for key channels and implement merchandising models to optimise product availability and ensure shelf-health at the point of purchase.
Define most appropriate IT solutions and infrastructural requirements to optimise sales ordering process as well as data integration with SAP to optimise in-market management information.

Sales and marketing experience in FMCG
